Collective Poll

The Collective Poll is the fan board: every published Top 25 for the week is averaged into one ranking. A team's place is the mean of where ballots ranked them — not a computer rating and not a résumé score. If a team is left off a ballot, that ballot does not invent a rank for them; only the lists that included the team count toward the average.
