Résumé Poll
The Résumé Poll is a results-driven ranking: teams climb or fall based on who they beat and who they lose to, not on hype or preseason reputation. Each week's games are scored using last week's Premier Poll rankings (the full FBS formula board), so the board updates from what just happened on the field.
After every completed week, the formula looks at each game and awards points from the prior week's Premier Poll. Beating a higher-ranked team pays more; losing to a lower-ranked team costs more. Week 1 uses the full Premier Poll preseason board (every FBS team, not just the published Top 25) and includes week-zero games. The Résumé order itself is the running point total — it is not used as next week's opponent ranks.
Points accumulate through the season. The new poll is simply the full FBS field ordered by total points — a running resumé of how teams have performed against the rankings they faced.
The Résumé Poll isn't asking who feels strongest on paper. It's asking who has built the better record against the Premier board as it stood each week.
